Meditation and Mantras

Patanjali's eight limbs create a system for achieving the state of samadhi or equanimity. This is the ultimate goal of the yogi: to exist in a state of bliss, here and now, regardless of external circumstances.

When the body has been cleansed by asana and the senses have been refined by pratyahara, the yogi is then able to immerse himself in it. Through continuous and sustained awareness, the practitioner will be able to find an expansive state of consciousness.

The course focuses on the sixth and seventh limbs of Patanjali: Dharana and Dhyana
